Montréal-based producer and DJ. Melodic, minimal, progressive, techno: energetic rhythms blended with instrumental and vocal elements, built to move a floor and stay with you long after.
Born of Lebanese and Ukrainian heritage, Joseph Nakouzi is known for his signature minimal melodic progressive techno. His track “Just A Dream” on Click Records reached #1 on Beatport’s Progressive House releases chart, and multiple releases have charted inside Beatport’s top five, on labels including Asymmetric Recordings / Dip, LIKE THAT UNDERGROUND, Trippy Code, Elixir Recordings and Uxoa Dutxa Elite.
Versatile by design, he is as at home in a minimal techno set as in a rave-ready progressive room, shaping his sound to the setting rather than forcing one formula on every floor. He is known for extended sets that take a crowd on the full journey. His newest release, “Solace”, opens Tides Vol. 1, the debut compilation from Nights of Solace.
